The stable operation of the refrigeration unit is essential to maintain a suitable temperature environment, but the refrigeration system often encounters various blockage problems in the actual operation process, especially ice blockage and dirty blockage, which not only affect the circulation of the refrigerant, but also may lead to abnormal operation of the compressor.
Take the expansion valve blockage as an important adjustment component in the refrigeration system. Once the expansion valve is blocked, it will block the flow channel of refrigerant from the high pressure side to the low pressure side. At this time, the compressor has to face the problem that the high pressure side pressure continues to rise and the low pressure side pressure continues to decrease under the continuous push, which leads to the increasing load and compression ratio of the compressor. Eventually, the overload protection mechanism of the compressor may be activated.
On the high pressure side, because the expansion valve is blocked, the compressor can only slowly push the refrigerant to the condenser and the high pressure pipe. With the accumulation of refrigerant at the high pressure side, the condensing pressure and exhaust pressure gradually increase, and the corresponding condensing temperature also rises, and the energy consumption of the refrigeration unit increases.
On the low pressure side, due to the blockage of the expansion valve, the refrigerant on the high pressure side cannot flow smoothly into the evaporator. At the same time, the refrigerant in the evaporator is gradually reduced under the continuous extraction of the compressor, resulting in the continuous reduction of the pressure on the low pressure side, the reduction of the evaporation pressure and the suction pressure, and the pressure is proportional to the temperature, so it will lead to the decrease of the evaporation temperature, making the refrigeration effect in the evaporator greatly reduced.
Due to the reduction of refrigerant in the evaporator, the evaporated refrigerant steam in the process of continuing to absorb heat, will lead to the increase of superheat, and then push up the suction temperature of the compressor, suction temperature rise will also lead to the compressor exhaust temperature rise, frozen oil carbonization temperature problem.
For compressors, the high pressure rise caused by the blockage of the expansion valve, the low pressure reduction and the increase of the compression ratio make the load and power consumption of the compressor significantly increase. At the same time as the power consumption increases, the heat converted by the compressor also increases, resulting in a rising exhaust temperature, which may eventually trigger the compressor overload protection mechanism.
